The Turnpike Comedy Festival Begins August 22nd, 2022!

The Turnpike Comedy Festival is seeking to find the most amazing up and coming tri-state area talent. For 7 days this live comedy event will present the most diverse group of comics in an industry / audience event. The festival is open to any comedy artist in the fields of Stand‐Up, Storytelling, Sketch, and Improv.

August 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th, 28th, 2022

The festival will present 7 nights of comedy, 7 shows, featuring top talent and rising stars.

70 spots are open for performers. All 70 performers will be recorded to be broadcast via a festival special online streaming platform. 90 days after the release of the special the performers will receive a copy of their performance.
All performers selected must make themselves available for a Podcast interview on a Tuesday at 3pm EST August 2nd, 9th, 16th, or 23rd 2022.

All performers will get 1 complimentary guest ticket to the thier show (2 item minimum still applies). In addition all selected performers will receive a friends and family ticket code to reduce the ticket prices for their guests.

Awards and Prizes will be announced soon, so check back often.

The contest is open to anyone who has not filmed a special for Netflix, HBO, Showtime, Comedy Central, Amazon Prime, or the BBC.

A Turnpike Comedy Festival Account must be created to submit. Selections are at the sole discretion of the festival; all submissions are final and non-refundable. If you are selected and your status changes between selection and the contest, the festival producers reserve the right to remove you from the spot. All decisions of the producers are final. If selected all housing and transportation will be the sole responsibility of the artist.
